The sad truth is that a lot of internet trap producers are still in the dinosaur age 🦖.
Still chasing artists, glazing big names, and begging for brand deals... 🤦♂️
And then wondering why it feels like they have no leverage 🙄.
Meanwhile producers in communities like EDM have been taking the Artist/DJ approach for over 10 years 🧠.
Their 'cheat code' is that they aren't making music because they wanna play second-fiddle to artists.
They cook up because they genuinely want their beats to be heard as the main attraction.
That doesn't mean they don't work with artists...
To the contrary, they work with even more artists because their creative energy is infectious 🔑.

Cause tbhhhh - the trap producer community online is rotten with low expectations.
