There is so much information out there about how to do pretty much anything.
The issue is not find information; the issue is verifying its practical utility.
So I’m starting a weekly series within the newsletter showing you helpful information I’ve discovered over the week, how it’s helped me, and how I intend to use it moving forward.

Understanding ‘human domestication’
Over the last few weeks I’ve been playing with the idea of ‘self concept’.
You self concept is made up of the following;
- How you perceive life
- What you want out of life
- How you plan out your life
- Your overall disposition toward life (optimistic vs pessimistic vs indifferent)
Our self concept is created by society and what they teach us when we are very young and before we can think for ourselves (ages 0-7)
And our self concept determine our quality of life.
The cool thing I’ve discovered is that you can change your self concept whenever you want.
Recently, I’ve made a drastic change to my self concept and it’s allowed me to become way more happy and confident in life.
I truly feel like a new person.

The simplest way to make a lot of money
We all need money.
Nothing is more annoying than that one person who acts so god damn self righteous about people wanting to make money.
Especially in music production, any time a person does something to grow as a business others feel threaten by this.
Instead of growing, they want to tear the person back down to their level because everyone in this niche is married that the garage idea of the ‘starving artist.’
Bull shit.
The only thing you need to do to make a lot of money in life is provide value.
That’s the whole point of money - value exchange.
So it makes sense those people who have an issue with others making money.
They are mad because they have NOTHING to offer and thus cannot make money.
Instead of searching deep inside for what they can give to the world, they are content fully with the ‘crabs in a barrel’ mindset.
No.
If you want to make money, that is VERY GOOD.
It means you want to serve humanity and I commend you for that.

How to make any artists love you
I’ve been saying al lot on discord how the best way to connect with artists is just by being a normal human.
Most of my placements are with my actual friends.
I’m friends with artists how have 10x my following simply because I care about them. I’m not trying to sell them anything - I just genuinely like cool, creative people.
As a result of this, if any of them need beats they naturally come to me.
Important: I never charge them - because they are my friend.
And, besides, the backend payments on our music together will be worth way more than any amount of lease money I could squeeze out of them.
